In Honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
In honor of Martin Luther King. Jr.’s important legacy, here are some ways we can all contribute to our community:
- Give blood at a local blood drive to help patients in need. Find a local drive through the Red Cross, or donate at your local hospital.
- Volunteer at a local charity. Boston Cares helps over 20,000 annual volunteers find opportunities at schools and non-profit organizations. Visit their website for more information.
- Donate to a local food bank. Help make sure every family has the resources they need to provide health meals to their family. There are food banks across Massachusetts, including The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, and The Greater Boston Food Bank.
